Hello my nonexistent readers, I know you are all excited to hear about my oh so amusing life... It's been over a year since i updated my journal, isn't that sad??? and i haven't really posted any new pictures... i really should shouldn't i, its kind of depressing...

since December 22, 2006, I have completed highschool successfully, even though i did have to drop two math classes, i got over being a math major and decided to go into hospitality... I got into U of Guelph in the BComm Hotel and Food Administration program...

I've done my first semester of the program and am really enjoying it... I live in residence in arts house which is really sweet cuz I'm surrounded by amazingly artsy people... it feels like home

I took up painting again and painted a few people christmas presents, its nice... i haven't taken many pictures of much other than people, but i will post a couple of some stuff later...

umm... not much else to talk about...

so i havent written a journal entry for... almost exactly.. 4 months!! (took a while to calculate haha)

so this is just an update on everything new and semi important (not really)

- i started taking guitar lessons, gotten pretty far, gonna get a new guitar for xmas (super excited woowoo)

- i am totally screwed for universities (for which i applied two weeks ago or so) cuz my average is maaaaybe 75%.. shit

- i just got an offer to hang my art at a local place where people can see/buy it! sweetums ^^

- aaaand... its XMAS in like 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^ sooo happy

Sooooo... if anyone knew/noticed, i've been gone all summer and just got back. I was out in the middle of nowhere (near Dorset, 40-45 minutes south of Huntsville) being an Ontario Ranger... its not girlguides!!! i've told so many people that and its starting to piss me off... I didn't learn to knit and sing songs and stuff... trust me...

so anyways, we were in a camp, me and 19 other girls that are born in 1989. we would get up at 7:00, eat breakfast, have our cabins checked, then leave for work... we would work in the bush on trails and stuff, clearing brush and cutting down small trees all day, most days. sometimes we got to paint buildings and such, and a couple times we got to do other odd jobs/chores around various places.

its really hard to sum my almost two months up in one short journal entry (and not bore you with details)... but i had the time of my life! we worked hard, got paid, and got to spend lots of time with a bunch of girls that turned out to be alot alike. We spent a couple days visiting/being visited by boys ranger camps (which was pretty sweet), and we had a jambouree at the end, where all the ranger camps in southern-ish ontario get together and compete and dance and have fun, that was pretty fuckin sweet too...

anyways... thats be basics of what i did all summer... if you're in ontario and you're born in 1990... seriously, you should apply! it was the best summer of my life!
